2026 Na Pali Challenge
Registration for the 2026 Na Pali Challenge opens on July 1. Please read all requirements before starting your registration. The process has changed from previous years.
Online registration closes Friday, August 1 at 5:00 PM. Registration must be submitted and fees must be paid in full by this time.
Late registrations will be accepted after the August 1 deadline with a fee penalty. No registrations will be accepted after Monday, August 3 at 5:00 PM.
Before You Start
You will need names, dates of birth, and HCRA ID cards for all 12 crew members.
Registration requires the canoe name and color, or an indication that your crew needs to borrow a canoe.
You will need the escort boat information, boat owner information, HA number, captain's information (including license), and insurance.
Escort Boats
Escort boat registration is handled through the Na Pali Challenge registration. Boat insurance covering the escort boat with CGL limits of $1 million will be required. You will upload that PDF to your Na Pali registration.
Any changes to escort boat or escort information must be made no later than 48 hours before the race start.
Required Meeting
A mandatory coaches meeting will be held in Hanalei on Friday, August 7 at 5:00 PM at Waiʻoli Huiʻia Church, Mission Hall .
Registration packages and canoe numbers will be distributed at this meeting. If there is no team representative at the coaches meeting, your canoe will not have a number and will not be allowed to compete.
