2026 Na Pali Challenge

Registration Opens July 1

Registration for the 2026 Na Pali Challenge opens on July 1. Please read all requirements before starting your registration. The process has changed from previous years.

Online registration closes Friday, August 1 at 5:00 PM. Registration must be submitted and fees must be paid in full by this time.

Late registrations will be accepted after the August 1 deadline with a fee penalty. No registrations will be accepted after Monday, August 3 at 5:00 PM.

Before You Start

Registration Requirements

Paddler Information

You will need names, dates of birth, and HCRA ID cards for all 12 crew members.

  • All paddlers must be valid in HCRAPaddler.
  • Check with your home association Race Secretary for validation procedures.
  • Indicate during registration whether shuttle services are needed.

Canoe Information

Registration requires the canoe name and color, or an indication that your crew needs to borrow a canoe.

  • KOA will make every effort to have canoes available for off-island crews.
  • Canoe availability is not guaranteed. Please plan accordingly.
  • If you need to ship a canoe, review the shipping information.

Escort Boat Information

You will need the escort boat's captain's information (including name and phone number).

Escort Registration Details

Escort boat registration is handled through the Na Pali Challenge registration. It will be the responsibility of each crew or club to perform its own due diligence regarding the escort boat's insurance coverage.

Required Meeting

Mandatory Coaches Meeting

A mandatory coaches meeting will be held in Lihu'e on Friday, August 7 at 5:00 PM at the County Round Building
Planning Commission Rooms 2A & 2B
.

Registration packages and canoe numbers will be distributed at this meeting. If there is no team representative at the coaches meeting, your canoe will not have a number and will not be allowed to compete.
